  • Easy access to useful NHS services such as organ donation, e-referrals and a pharmacy finder

Improving Access

As from the 1st April 2018 the Burney Street catchment area has reduced so that we may take care of the local residents living in and around the Surgery.

Existing registered patients will not be removed unless in the future they move home however they will be able to remain at Burney Street if they move into the new catchment area.

A list of the accepted streets can be found under the New Patients section.

Friends & Family Test

From December 2014, part of the GP Contract is to take part in the Friends & Family Test.

NHS England will be collecting feedback on whether you, as a patient, would recommend your GP surgery to your Friends & Family.

Survey cards are available for completion at both Burney Street & Wallace Health Centre with a box to put them in.

You may also receive a text message once you have attended a GP appointment asking you a sequence of questions with a free text option to enter a comment.  This will only happen every 90 days, so if you see a GP more than once in this period of time, you will only be surveyed once.

We are pleased to say that our reports are very positive.  On average, over 90% of the patients surveyed, would recommend our surgery to their friends and family.
