A fully qualified doctor who and has worked in hospital posts who is furthering their training within the field of general practice, preparing for a career as a general practitioner. They will see the same group of patients as a GP.

Nursing Team

Nurse  

Provides healthcare services, including family planning, dressings, and managing clinics for various long term conditions. They also perform cervical smears and administer immunisations.

Healthcare Team

Healthcare Assistant  

Works within the nursing team, providing hands-on care eg. dressings, blood pressures, blood tests, vitamin B12 injections and many more diagnostic processes.

Community Paramedic

Manage patients with long term conditions, minor injuries, and minor illness. They can also support triaging of patient requests and home visiting.  

Physician Associate  

Support doctors in the diagnosis and management of patients, taking medical histories, performing examinations, requesting further investigations, interpreting results and developing management plans.  

First Contact Physiotherapist  

Clinical practitioners who can assess, diagnose, treat, and manage musculoskeletal problems and undifferentiated conditions. 

GP Assistant  

Provide a support role, carrying out administrative tasks, combined with basic clinical duties.  

Social Prescriber  

Connect people to community groups and support agencies. Offering a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.  

Care Co-ordinators  

Provide extra time, capacity, and expertise to support patients in preparing for clinical conversations or in following up discussions with other health care professionals.   

Health and Wellbeing coaches  

Support people to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become active participants in their care so that they can reach their own health and wellbeing goals.

Other Members Of The Team

Practice Management

The practice manager oversees business operations and supports medical professionals in delivering patient services and enhancing care.

Reception/Administration Team  

Serve as the initial point of contact for patients, addressing enquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations. They play a vital role in patient communication and appointment coordination. 

Digital and Transformation Lead  

Support increased access to care for patients, by supporting the adoption or optimisation of new technology and enable PCN staff to work more effectively to support general practice.

Administration

The practice has a number of staff to deal with Referrals, Reports, Registrations, Test Results and Prescriptions.


Reception

The practice has 10 Receptionists who work over both sites.
